A number of updates:
I don't have a huge project in the works right now except for a 3d Space Hulk Board which is sort of always in the works. I tend to make 2-3 pieces on it a day just as a place where I pour off excess resin when I'm casting other stuff.
In front of me to be painted, I have:
- a spiral staircase
- two trapdoors set in a wooden floor, perfect for a tavern
- A statue of a viking with a sword
- A pentagram with bones all around it
- A big man sized cage (bwa hahaha!)
- kegs
- wine rack
- A raised platform that I think is REALLY cool looking
- A hobbit hut
- A treasure chest
- 10-20 lbs of unsorted bits.
- A small dose of claustrophobia
To be honest, I've got so much stuff made at the moment that I probably ought to take stock of what is and what is not up, but I don't really have too much time for that because...
The gang and I (collectively known as the Crazy Rabbits) are thinking about publishing on-line interactive novels. As I have no computer skills and very little by way of business skills, I have been tapped to populate our list of titles (at first, we will soon be bringing on other writers).
My two major forrays into this venture can be found here:
https://interactive-novels.obsidianportal.com/ . Yes, yes, I know. Build stuff.
I will. Don't you worry. I'm also currently prepping four new molds. I need sci fi floors because I'm hoping to branch out from fantasy. To tell the truth, I started many moons ago with 40k stuff and I'd like to do some of that again, but we'll see.
Tip for the day:
And I do mean that, I just figured it out today. Some molds have a reverse image that you can use. Think bunt pan. Now, obviously you can't pour resin on the outside of a bunt pan, it will just spill off. But that's not true of all molds. For instance, I have found that my Tardis mold, when filled on the wrong side, creates really cool looking tech panels.
